scrap-wall

when i originally posted my scrap room i called it my scrap wall, because my desk was literally lined up against one wall. well now it's sort of a scrap corner instead of a wall, but i still like the name. . .so here are the updated pics of my new scrapwall!

(it's still a work in progress, and i was going to wait until i was completely done,  but the old pictures were just so out of date i had do something)

. . . so this is the new scrap wall , i actually have my own office, (the other half of the room not in the pics has my computer desk and book shelf, and i actually use it as an office for school and stuff)

here's a close up of the desk. i purchased white cubes and the long-slab or connecting table-the part that makes it a desk from Michaels, and I assembled all of the cubes myself! on my desk i have a martha stewart 12x12 cutting mat, ranger kraft mat (hiding under the martha stewart mat), simply renee clip it up, desk lamp, and desk caddie.

on the right side of my desk i have my clip it up. so great for organization, i keep my clear stamps, and most
of my embellishments on my clip it up so that they're easy for me to reach.

in the first cubby below that there's a "magazine holder" style pocket where i keep 8 1/2x 11 paper in black, white and kraft (since i use those the most), my heat tool and glue gun. the two cubbies next to it hold my paper trimmers and the supplies needed for the current project i'm working on.
below that cubbie in the four drawers are sizzix dies, tape runner adhesive replacement packs, and some extra embellishments that don't fit on the clip it up, because i need more clips.

on the left side of my desk i have my rotating tool caddy. next to my lamp i have some ink and adhesive that need to go back into the tool caddy.

the cubes hold my cardstock, and below that cube i have 12x12 albums, glue dots, and my making memories small embellishment organizer. (which holds brads and buttons and photo turns)
on the floor in the corner is my big shot (i need a better place to put it, but for now it's fine sitting there).

the cricket station (as i call it) has my cricket on top. inside the top cubbie i have my gypsy, baby wipes, xyron sticker maker, making memories distress kit, and recollections jars of flowers and butterflies.
in the cube below that i have embossing powders.

in the bottom drawer i keep my punches, and ranger pain daubers.

across from my desk i have more designer paper, martha stewart score board, and 12x12 border sticker combo sheets.

this organizer that should be mounted on the wall (but i haven't gotten around to it yet) holds ribbon, distress ink, colorbox chalk in, glimmer mist, perfect pearls, stickles. inside those two drawers i have pain and some other random embellishments. the "S" container was a gift from a swap.

these two containers are so easy, the large clear bins are so big i can throw tons of stuff in them. they hold ribbon, brads, dimensional adhesive, wood stamps, and lots of other random embellishments.
on top i have my blending tool caddie, some altered projects.
the making memories organizer holds 12x12 designer paper, stickers, rub ons, and more.

So that's what the craft room looks like for now, it's nothing fancy but it's my happy place! the goal is to finish buying all the cubes i'd like and decorate the space and then i'll do a video on my craft room.
