i began by cutting and matting the designer paper on black cardstock for the three panel's that i needed. the middle panel is white cardstock that i dry embossed with fiskars embossing plates and making memories stylus.

then i added kaiser boarder rub on's. (isn't that flourish beautiful. it seemed romantic-if rub-on's can be romantic- and so perfect for this card).

for the die cut, i used my cricket gypsy. the cartridge is the gypsy wanderings (which comes pre-loaded and is exclusive to the gypsy). i used a white gel pen to make faux stitching lines around the die cut. for the sentiment i used american crafts thickers, and a heart cut with the cricket george and basics shapes cartridge. then i added rangers glossy accents to the heart.

i ran the small hearts through my xyron sticker maker. that's my favorite way to add adhesive to the back of small embellishments. it's so quick and easy.

then i punch butterflies out with martha stewarts 3 in 1 butterfly punch, and ran the butterfly pieces through the sticker maker.

i finished the card by adding rhinestones to the butterfly, and using foam adhesive to give dimension to the die cut.

i love this sketch and i had so much fun making this card.
